We are happy to report that we have met our challenge match for new donors!  Thanks to a wonderful matching grant from one of our supporters, hard work from our all-volunteer board members to spread the word, and a number of generous new contributors to the Fund, we raised $30,000 in additional contributions in 2007, which will be matched with $15,000.  Therefore, we will be able to give an additional $45,000 to worthy groups in 2008.  We thank all of our existing and new donors for helping us to support grassroots environmental advocates who are protecting biodiversity and wilderness throughout the country.

There are over one million non-profit organizations in the United States. You know and love many; but you’re not so sure about others. You wish you had more to give — both time and money.

We can help.

The Fund for Wild Nature provides small grants to small groups who get things done. Our Board of Directors is comprised of lifelong environmental activists who know which steps are needed to protect and restore our planet, and which strategies and tactics will work. We fund only project-oriented expenses, not general overhead.

We fund action for wildlife, for rivers, for wilderness, for the places that support the interdependent life that sustains our planet.

We provide this service for free, but we need money to give to organizations doing the hard work in the field. We promise you this: your donation to the Fund for Wild Nature will yield results.

The Fund for Wild Nature is supported entirely by donations from individuals just like you. We have no endowment — our ability to make grants depends upon the continuing generosity of our contributors. We invite you to join our many donors whose contributions are making a tremendous difference for wild nature. All donations to the Fund for Wild Nature are tax deductible.
